This application is appropriate for students aged 7 to 12 who are developing their understanding of whole number place value. It is particularly suitable for educators and parents seeking a research-informed tool to support foundational mathematics skills.

The content addresses key aspects of place value as identified in recent educational research (Rogers, 2014). Specifically, it emphasizes six core areas: Calculation, Comparison and Ordering, Counting, Making and Representing, Naming and Recording, and Renaming of numbers.

The app was developed by Dr. Angela Rogers, an experienced primary school teacher and researcher specializing in mathematics education. Her PhD work focused on effective strategies for teaching and learning place value, informing the design of this resource.
